Regional Human Resources Specialist

Position Summary: The Regional HR Generalist plays a pivotal role in executing HR strategies that enhance employee engagement and promote a positive workplace culture aligned with our organizational values. This position oversees all regional HR functions, including employee relations, onboarding, leadership development, and compliance with HR regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete employee lifecycle from recruitment to separation, ensuring effective management across various HR domains such as talent acquisition, compensation, performance evaluation, training, and compliance.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with management teams to deliver exemplary HR practices that support and fulfill organizational objectives.
- Provide coaching to retail teams, focusing on development opportunities, effective leadership, and maintaining high service standards to create an optimal work environment.
- Deliver timely HR support, offering expert advice on best practices and guidance on the interpretation and application of HR policies and regulations.
- Manage the Performance Improvement Process, ensuring thorough coaching, accurate documentation, and timely follow-ups.
- Assist with employee escalations, providing mediation and advice while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Offer strategic insights and recommendations for employee development, succession planning, and retention of high-potential talent.
- Monitor employee engagement levels and collaborate with management to retain valued team members.
- Act as an advocate for employees, promoting a positive work-life balance and a safe, equitable workplace.
- Maintain a consistent presence in the field through regular visits and engagement sessions with retail staff.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, with a focus on employee relations and organizational development.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- HR certification is preferred.
- Strong ability to connect, build, and maintain relationships across all organizational levels.
- Proven capability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond professionally to complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present, train, influence, and negotiate effectively.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their relevance to HR practices.
- Willingness to travel as required.
