Position Summary

As the Culinary Operations Manager, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen management, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for your team. You will be responsible for meal preparation in alignment with corporate standards and guidelines. This role is ideal for a passionate and innovative culinary professional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement regular and customized menus adhering to established guidelines.
  • Utilize standardized recipes and presentation standards while completing daily production logs.
  • Train kitchen personnel in food preparation, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
  • Establish and uphold cleaning and maintenance schedules for kitchen areas and equipment.
  • Manage inventory of food and supplies to ensure availability while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Make informed decisions regarding the use of leftover food products in compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations through regular audits.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.S. Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Services Management, or a related field; or A.O.S. Degree in Culinary Arts with relevant experience.
  • Three to five years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience.
  • Extensive experience in catering and high-volume food service operations.
  • Hands-on experience in culinary settings is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of food trends, quality control, and cost management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • ServSafe certification is highly desirable.
