The Product Team at Feedonomics

Our Product team leverages creativity, insights, and operational excellence to guide our product vision. This vibrant group of product managers, designers, and project managers collaborates closely to develop products and experiences that significantly impact the e-commerce landscape and beyond.

The Role

Feedonomics is in search of a seasoned Lead Product Management Strategist to oversee the development and enhancement of our solutions within the e-commerce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in online sales and advertising channels, as well as a proven track record in managing and mentoring product managers. In this role, you will spearhead strategic product initiatives, work alongside cross-functional teams, and shape the future of our integration technology solutions to provide exceptional value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the strategic planning, development, and implementation of integration technology solutions for e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, advertising channels, and business systems.
  • Actively manage and mentor Product Managers, fostering their success in their respective roles.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs across e-commerce sales channels and technologies.
  • Work closely with other product managers, engineering, design, sales, and customer support teams to define product requirements and priorities based on market insights and business objectives.
  • Effectively break down complex projects into smaller, manageable tasks, enhancing customer value with each iteration.
  • Communicate business outcomes and performance metrics to key stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Prioritize feature backlog and allocate resources efficiently to deliver impactful product releases in a timely manner.
  • Create detailed narratives for Stories and Epics, ensuring all relevant information is communicated to the development teams throughout the development process.
  • Collaborate with the Design team to develop prototypes for new features.
  • Validate the feasibility of new features by gathering feedback from platform users prior to development.
  • Present new features to stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and customers.
  • Manage the product and sprint backlog in project management tools, ensuring clarity and up-to-date information.
  • Analyze and assess the impact of product enhancements, continuously iterating to optimize performance.
Qualifications
  • 9+ years of experience in Product Management or related roles within the e-commerce sector.
  • 3+ years of experience managing and supporting Product Managers, contributing to their growth and development.
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in e-commerce technologies.
  • Familiarity with advertising channels (e.g., Google, Meta, Microsoft, Pinterest).
  • Experience with marketplace channels (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, eBay).
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento).
  • Understanding of business systems (e.g., PIM, ERP, OMS, WMS).
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on customer-centric innovation.
  • Comprehension of the product life cycle as it pertains to product catalogs, inventory management, product listings, and order management.
  • A proactive approach, consistently driving initiatives forward.
  • A proven history of leading successful product initiatives and fostering product growth in a dynamic environment.
  • A technical background or orientation, enabling effective collaboration with engineers to evaluate various technologies and solutions.
  • Strong UX instincts, with the ability to collaborate effectively with design and research teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with cross-functional teams.
  • A strong ability to influence others and promote collaboration, even amidst differing viewpoints.
  • A curious mindset, eager to explore new ideas and solutions.
  • A passion for tackling complex and often ambiguous challenges.
  • Understanding of the complexities of human behavior and the challenges of changing behaviors.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable product plans.
  • A BA/BS degree is required, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering; a Master's degree is desirable.
