Position Overview

Join our dedicated team as a Neurodiagnostic Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in the assessment and monitoring of neurological conditions.

Department: Neurodiagnostic Lab

Work Schedule: Part-time, day shift, Monday-Thursday

On-call duties required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electroneurodiagnostic evaluations.
  • Prepare and set up necessary equipment and supplies for tests.
  • Review patient histories and educate them about procedures.
  • Continuously monitor and document patient conditions, reporting any unusual reactions.
  • Operate and maintain various diagnostic equipment, including EEG, EP, and PSG systems.
  • Identify and rectify any artifacts during testing.
  • Score, document, and report findings from diagnostic assessments.

Qualifications:

Licensure / Certification:

  • Preferred: Credentialing as an Electroencephalographic Technician from ABRET or the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists.

Education:

  • High School diploma with 2 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable experience.

Additional Preferences:

Experience in healthcare settings is advantageous.
