Position: Lead Neurodiagnostic Specialist

Company: Hackensack Meridian Health

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all personnel within the neurodiagnostic department.
  • Develop staff schedules to meet the needs of the department.
  • Assign team members to ensure coverage for all neurodiagnostic testing modalities daily.
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives for team members.
  • Act as a liaison among various hospital departments.
  • Resolve equipment issues with vendors and provide budget recommendations.
  • Exhibit proficiency in editing EEG recordings and conducting diagnostic procedures.
  • Support team members during patient interactions and maintain monthly performance metrics.
  • Adhere to departmental protocols and uphold organizational standards of conduct.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Neurodiagnostic Technician.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
  • Capability to perform Neurodiagnostic testing and possess an Associate degree.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

  • AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
  • ABRET registration in EEG, EP, or NCS.
