Program Manager Job Description

One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support our federal government client. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering solid presentations, effectively facilitating and presenting to various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong oral and written communication skills to clearly instruct the project team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interface with all areas affected by the project, including customers' end users, computer services, and client services divisions.
  • Define and assign project scope and objectives.
  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Conduct project meetings and track project deliverables, including weekly executive briefings.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.
  • Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables.
  • Provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team.
  • Establish, document, and manage the scope, schedule, and resource allocation for projects and sustaining activities.
  • Perform an integrated Program Management function to ensure effective cost, schedule, and technical requirements are achieved.
  • Conduct bi-weekly customer stakeholder meetings and present financial and technical reports to maintain exceptional customer satisfaction levels.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience managing federal government projects and contractor personnel.
  • Able to commute onsite 5 days a week (Washington, DC area).
  • Experienced being a supervisor or team lead, and has experience managing direct reports of a minimum of 10+ people.
  • DOS experience preferred.
  • Willingness to fill in where needed (e.g., answer phones, help with team projects, etc.).
  • Secret Clearance Required.
  • Bachelor's Degree and PMP preferred but not required.
