Business Development Specialist

ProMedica is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with referral sources, developing new accounts, and executing community events to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate and develop new sales opportunities through face-to-face interactions with physicians, hospitals, and medical professionals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, assisted livings, and community organizations.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of our building's products and services, resident care capabilities, and physician relations to effectively communicate with referral sources.
- Develop and execute an annual sales and marketing plan to meet building objectives, within budget, and demonstrate a working knowledge of the industry, local marketplace, and competition.
- Represent the building through community involvement and networking, as appropriate, to position the building as an expert in the community.
- College degree preferred
- 3-5 years of sales experience, particularly in healthcare services, products, or pharmaceuticals preferred
