Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and design professional development products and content to support ANA Enterprise and its subsidiaries
  • Implement and manage professional development initiatives and programs
  • Collaborate with staff across the ANA Enterprise to develop high-quality educational programs, products, and services
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of current and emerging curriculum and instructional design methodologies, techniques, and adult learning principles and theories
  • Stay up-to-date with technological software and hardware platforms that support management and educational delivery and initiatives
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in nursing (MSN) required
  • Experience and/or degree in education, educational technology, informatics, business, or a related degree required
  • Unencumbered RN license
  • ANCC APRN certification/license required
  • NPD-BC or equivalent advanced certification or must be eligible or obtain certification within one year of employment
  • Minimum 5 years in APRN clinical practice experience required
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in related duties with responsibility for educational content development/programming in health care, nursing continuing education programs, or consulting services
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Doctoral degree preferred
  • Nurse Planner experience preferred
