Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Manager to join our Brand Strategy & Innovation team at Royal Caribbean Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing high-impact and strategic projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project management methodologies and tools to improve project delivery and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including department leadership, project stakeholders, and external consultants, to gather, analyze, and plan project recommendations.
  • Proactively strategize, lead, plan, and drive project activities to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage project planning, tracking, budget adherence, and status reporting.
  • Hold the Brand Strategy & Innovation team accountable for project deliverables, deadlines, and budget compliance.
  • Conduct oversight of project progression and success to avoid delays, missed deadlines, or over-budget occurrences.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Management, Project Management, or related field.
  • Relevant certification in project management, such as PMP or PRINCE2.
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience, with large project experience required.
  • Preferred: Master's in Business Administration (MBA), Six Sigma certified, or related training.
  • Operations, newbuild, startup experience is a plus.
  • Cruise Line experience is preferred.
  • Experience using modern Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement methods, such as LEAN, TPM, 6 Sigma, or TQM, is highly preferred.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Meticulous with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong planning skills, with the ability to grasp abstract problems and come up with concrete solutions.
  • Ability to clarify ambiguous situations and/or processes.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with strength in communicating in a multicultural environment.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Emphasis on DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) or other formal process frameworks.

  • Excellent analytical, financial, and spreadsheet modeling skills.
