Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Office Lead to join our Product Development team at Royal Caribbean Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving project execution standards, managing program management components, and ensuring continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in leading high-priority, high-profile projects. You will be responsible for managing multiple competing interests, unifying key constituents towards a common goal, and simplifying complex topics into actionable plans.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to make strategic decisions and recommendations based on multiple inputs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project planning, tracking, budget adherence, and status reporting
  • Hold the Product Development and Operational Excellence teams accountable for project deliverables, deadlines, and budget compliance
  • Conduct oversight in the teams' project progression and success to avoid delays, missed deadlines, or over-budget occurrences
  • Prepare project communications and presentations and provide effective oversight and accountability to a portfolio of projects
  • Utilize program management tools to support and oversee the success track of various programs and projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Management, Project Management, or related field
  • Relevant certification in project management
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience, large project experience required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Six Sigma certified (ASQ, IASSC), Project Management Professional (PMP) certified, or related training
  • Operations, newbuild, startup experience is a big plus
  • Cruise Line experience (preferred)
  • Experience using modern Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement methods (LEAN, TPM, 6 Sigma, TQM) highly preferred
