Role Impact

The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This position requires the accurate maintenance and distribution of financial records, payroll information, vendor payments, and essential financial dashboards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and effectively communicate with various business partners regarding financial matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive financial records, including journal entries.
  • Analyze and update company performance dashboards on a regular basis.
  • Prepare precise monthly financial statements.
  • Review vendor invoices and facilitate payment processing.
  • Manage bi-weekly payroll processing.
  • Oversee employee payroll deductions and maintain the HRIS system for accurate payroll management.
  • Compile accounting reports related to payroll activities.
  • Record cash receipts and manage bank deposits.
  • Monitor and tag fixed assets and equipment.
  • Calculate budget variances and report significant findings to management.
  • Assist in preparing monthly and annual budgets.
  • Compile monthly reconciliations for credit card accounts, including expense allocations.
  • Maintain financial records for inventory management.
  • Monitor cash flow to optimize cash balances.
  • Ensure compliance with IRS, Workers Compensation, and Department of Labor regulations.
  • Facilitate the timely processing of year-end documents.
  • Conduct operational audits for various departments.
  • Assist with debt application, setup, and maintenance.
  • Prepare additional financial reports as needed.
  • Support audit and tax filing processes.
  • Develop and maintain internal policies and controls to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to vendor contracts.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in a financial role.
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and retrieve necessary data.
  • Proficient in mathematical computations and error identification.
  • Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables and lookups.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Capable of handling sensitive information with confidentiality.
