Position Summary:

The Clinical Research Registered Nurse plays a vital role in the execution and oversight of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards and protocols. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about advancing medical research while providing exceptional care to study participants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering comprehensive nursing care to participants involved in research studies.
  • Maintaining strict compliance with study protocols through detailed review and documentation during each patient visit.
  • Assisting in the recruitment and assessment of study candidates by conducting interviews and recording medical histories to verify eligibility.
  • Conducting essential medical evaluations, including vital signs, imaging tests, and electrocardiograms.
  • Administering investigational treatments and performing thorough patient evaluations during clinic visits to monitor for side effects, promptly reporting any findings to the Principal Investigator.
  • Providing educational resources and medical guidance to participants to ensure clarity regarding medication usage and treatment plans.
  • Accurately documenting all medical information in patient records to fulfill protocol requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in the state of Connecticut.
  • Availability for a part-time commitment of 28 hours per week.
