The Clinical Nurse Manager is accountable for conducting thorough assessments of clients. A valid RN license is required, with a BSN being preferred. This role involves delivering care in the client's residence, skilled nursing facilities, or other designated locations, adhering to the agency's policies.
The Clinical Nurse Manager provides comprehensive care that aligns with the agency's philosophy and standards, following the established plan of care set by the physician and care team. This position demands the execution of technical skills in a safe manner, consistent with agency policies and procedures.
Position Title: Clinical Nurse Manager
Reports To: Supervisor of Clinical Services
Supervised Staff: Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and registered with the state Board of Nursing. Compliance with all state regulatory agency requirements is essential. Previous clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital or similar environment is required. Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English is necessary.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital or comparable healthcare setting is preferred. Experience in case management is also desirable.
Licensure: Must hold a valid RN license in the state, CPR certification, with a BSN preferred.
