**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement comprehensive education programs for nursing staff, including new hire orientation, continuing education, and professional development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Professional Development to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate education programs that meet the needs of our healthcare providers.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to nursing staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and research to ensure that education programs are evidence-based and relevant.
  • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks to ensure successful program implementation.

**Requirements:**

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse License in Connecticut
  • BSN Required, MSN preferred
  • 3-5 years recent clinical experience in an acute care setting
  • Formal teaching or comparable experience required
  • Maintains appropriate job-related membership in professional organization

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • National certification in a related specialty
  • AHA Instructor status in one discipline (ACLS, BLS, or PALS)
