Stamford Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Clinical Instructor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering educational programs that enhance the performance and professional development of healthcare providers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement comprehensive education programs for nursing staff, including new hire orientation, continuing education, and professional development initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Director of Professional Development to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate education programs that meet the needs of our healthcare providers.
- Provide expert guidance and support to nursing staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and research to ensure that education programs are evidence-based and relevant.
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks to ensure successful program implementation.
**Requirements:**
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse License in Connecticut
- BSN Required, MSN preferred
- 3-5 years recent clinical experience in an acute care setting
- Formal teaching or comparable experience required
- Maintains appropriate job-related membership in professional organization
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- National certification in a related specialty
- AHA Instructor status in one discipline (ACLS, BLS, or PALS)
