Job Summary

Stamford Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Educator to join their team in the NICU and Pediatric units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive education programs for nursing staff, including new hire orientation, competency-based training, and ongoing professional development.
  • Collaborate with clinical resources to provide support and guidance to clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of education programs across the organization.
  • Provide individualized orientation plans for new staff members, including nurse residents, experienced RNs, travelers, and clinical assistants.
  • Facilitate preceptor and nurse manager meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse License in Connecticut
  • BSN Required, MSN preferred
  • 3-5 years recent clinical experience in an acute care setting, with a focus on NICU nursing
  • National certification in a related specialty (e.g. PALS, NRP)
