KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support in Team Leadership and Management

  • Achieve and surpass designated sales targets for the location.
  • Assist Sales Counselors in implementing strategies outlined in training materials while complying with company regulations.
  • Provide initial and ongoing sales training to ensure Sales Counselors effectively meet customer needs.
  • Act as a primary resource for Sales Counselors regarding aftercare processes, prospecting, product knowledge, sales techniques, pricing, documentation, compliance, and customer service delivery.
Market Development
  • Contribute to the creation of marketing initiatives that resonate with the community's demographics and cultural aspects.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor pricing strategies.
  • Engage in community events aimed at generating leads and increasing local awareness.
Financial Oversight
  • Review pre-need and at-need contracts to ensure adherence to legal standards.
  • Authorize customer discounts as appropriate.
  • Compile reports to demonstrate compliance with financial regulations.
Operational Assistance
  • Maintain all sales materials, training resources, and equipment.
  • Ensure that sales programs, incentives, and presentations are properly budgeted and aligned with company policies.
  • Keep sales areas organized and professional for both Sales Counselors and clients.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure all sales personnel adhere to the Code of Conduct and possess the necessary licenses.
  • Guarantee that sales practices comply with all relevant regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Experience
  • Prior sales experience is not mandatory.
  • Experience as a Sales Counselor or in a supervisory role is advantageous.
  • Experience in training and motivating sales teams is a plus.
Licenses
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Insurance license as mandated by state law.
Skills and Competencies
  • Proficient in a Windows-based PC environment and MS Office applications.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management systems is beneficial.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work flexible hours as needed.
  • Capability to set challenging yet attainable goals for team members.
