About the Role

Spectrum is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Account Executive to join our team. As a Business Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling primary and ancillary communications solutions to small and medium-sized businesses within a specified territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect for new customers and sell bundled services to expand the customer base within your assigned territory.
  • Develop and implement a Territory Plan to achieve sales and revenue goals.
  • Actively support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Place orders through order management software and work with Account Coordinators to ensure accurate and timely administrative work.
  • Hand off customer service and non-sales related client inquiries to the Customer Service department.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.
  • Meet and exceed performance standards as defined by the department.
Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on telephone and Internet fundamentals.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Outside sales experience in a high-transaction, short-closing cycle model.
  • Business-to-business sales experience.
  • Proven sales history of meeting or exceeding targets.
