Position Overview

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is dedicated to delivering top-tier integrated healthcare services to over 800,000 members across Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. We are currently seeking applications for a full-time specialist in Rehabilitation Medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a collegial team of professionals in pain management and functional medicine, including specialists in Rehabilitation, Interventional Pain, Chronic Pain, Pain Psychology, Neurology, and Orthopedics.
  • Engage in an outpatient role with no on-call duties or weekend shifts.
  • Manage a blend of outpatient neuro-rehabilitation and musculoskeletal medicine.
  • Implement opioid-sparing strategies, with no chronic opioid management required, supported by a dedicated Comprehensive Chronic Pain Management Program.
  • Utilize ultrasound technology in patient care.
  • Access Complementary and Integrative Health resources, along with dedicated Health Coaching services for enhanced patient support.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Rehabilitation Medicine.
  • Possess or be eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
  • Work visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.
