Position Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated Rehabilitation Specialist to become part of our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advising the Program Director on the formulation and execution of rehabilitation services tailored for minors within our care. Core responsibilities encompass supervising daily rehabilitation services, training staff on the documentation of rehabilitation activities, and performing employee evaluations. The Rehabilitation Specialist must hold a valid mental health license and possess a minimum of 2 years of experience working with youth facing emotional challenges. Experience in a supervisory capacity is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of rehabilitation services
  • Train staff on the accurate documentation of rehabilitation activities
  • Conduct evaluations of employee performance
  • Assist in the recruitment and interviewing process
  • Ensure adherence to therapy by clients
  • Manage the client discharge process
  • Conduct initial intake assessments as necessary

Required Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid mental health professional license
  • At least 2 years of direct care experience with emotionally challenged youth
  • Supervisory experience is preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Awareness of cultural diversity and special needs populations
  • Valid Driver's License

Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel for supervision appointments and meetings is essential.

Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
