The Clinical Manager will oversee the daily operations of our Outpatient Mental Health Center (OMHC) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This role requires a professional and pleasant demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a team of clinical and administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily service provisions, including clinical and administrative staff.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community and referral sources.
- Manage administrative staff in relation to quality assurance activities.
- Handle service delivery, communication, and other problems between clients, families, and counselors.
- Conduct monthly staff meetings and collaborate with Clinical Directors on metrics and KPIs.
- Participate in CARF and COMAR quality compliance, including auditing and client/community stakeholder satisfaction.
- Meet all requirements of COMAR for Rehabilitation Specialist.
- Provide oversight of daily program of rehabilitation services and ensure adequate staffing.
- Educate Direct Care staff on documentation and Individual Rehabilitation Plans.
- Provide overall supervision to Direct Service Staff and ensure compliance.
- Schedule trainings for staff and make referrals for additional services as needed.
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
- Maintain professional license in the state of Maryland to provide therapy services.
- Licensed as a LCSW-C Certified supervisor by the Board of Maryland Social Work Examiners.
- At least five years of administrative and/or clinical experience.
- Required experience working in a behavioral health setting providing services to clients with emotional and behavioral disabilities.
- Knowledge of CARF standards and COMAR regulations preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid Driver's License and clear driving record.
Clinical Manager must be able to travel to in-person supervision appointments and other required events. Must be at least 21 years of age.
