The University of Southern California is seeking a highly skilled Resource Employee - Video Annotator to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will play a crucial role in analyzing interpersonal communication between public servants and the public through recorded video footage.
Job Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with experience in law enforcement or public safety to work as a Video Annotator. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate substantial amounts of video and audio data for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day.
- View video footage and record information about interactions.
- Must have experience in law enforcement or public safety.
- Must be able to work at least on 8-hour shift per week, Monday - Friday, in person in downtown Los Angeles.
- Proficiency in basic computer software, such as Microsoft Word.
- Comfort with focused evaluation of substantial amounts of video and audio data for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to handle confidential materials and maintain confidentiality.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- A competitive hourly rate of $27-$30 per hour.
- The opportunity to work with a world-class research team.
- A flexible scheduling arrangement that allows for a minimum of 8 hours per week.
