Key Responsibilities- Direct and supervise department personnel and associated activities
- Implement Lean manufacturing systems and strategy to ensure a safe work environment and maximize profitable growth
- Oversee day-to-day activities to meet daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly expectations
- Monitor headcount and adjust the work force as needed to meet internal and external customer needs
- Ensure products are made to print and meet the highest quality standards
- Proven ability to manage people, train, and motivate employees
- Strong process focus and ability to recommend and implement changes to improve efficiency and performance
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interpret standards, specifications, procedures, drawings, etc.
- Proven knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing Principles
- Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form
- Project management and planning skills
- SAP knowledge and experience with production planning systems
The employee is regularly required to stand, reach above shoulder level, reach below knee level, bend/twist/stoop, squat/kneel, climb, and regularly lift/carry up to 60 lbs. Steel-toed shoes are required for working in this position.
