Fabrication Associate II

Job Summary
Legrand AV, Inc. is seeking a skilled Fabrication Associate II to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various fabrication equipment, including tapping lines, cold saws, and hardware insertion equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and shut down fabrication equipment to manufacture parts within specified tolerances.
- Run various fabrication machinery, including spot welding, press brakes, and CNC equipment.
- Maintain quality control by checking parts against prints using proper measuring equipment.
- Load and unload machines, and perform basic cross-reference checks to ensure correct parts are being processed.
- Perform routine adjustments and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Escalate any issues or delays to supervisor as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Basic math skills and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use and interpret measurement tools, such as tape measures and calipers.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to operate industrial machines.
- Good motor coordination and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Proven reliability and attendance record.
Working Conditions
- Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequent standing, reaching, and lifting.
- May be exposed to sharp edges, hot metal, dust, and high noise levels.
- Must wear steel-toed shoes and follow all safety protocols.
