Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at a manufacturing facility specializing in plastic bottles. This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 months.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and possess strong electrical knowledge (420/480V) for industrial production machines. They will also have a solid understanding of schematics, hydraulics knowledge (pressurized liquids such as oil or air), and troubleshooting industrial machines in manufacturing and production.
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, air, water, electrical lines, and power supplies with minimal impact on processing time. They will also perform preventative maintenance on industrial food-grade machines, report issues to the shift supervisor, and handle open issues with the support of a technical skills maintenance specialist if needed.
The role requires computer skills for making work orders, managing inventory, and reporting usage. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
