Assistant Sales Manager

The Assistant Sales Manager at Reno Harley-Davidson will support the Sales Manager in driving sales growth and profitability by motivating and managing the sales team. This role requires a passion for the Harley-Davidson brand, excellent leadership skills, and experience in sales management.
Responsibilities- Sales Leadership & Management:
- Assist in daily operations of the sales department to ensure goals are met.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets.
- Act as a role model with high salesmanship and customer-centric approach.
- Ensure all customers receive an exceptional Harley-Davidson experience promoting the dealership as the best place to buy motorcycles.
- Oversee follow-up procedures to maintain high customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Implement and uphold dealership sales processes ensuring team adherence.
- Support refining sales scripts, word tracks, and negotiation tactics to maximize closing rates.
- Monitor inventory levels collaborating with the inventory manager to ensure adequate stock.
- Assist in planning and executing sales promotions contributing creative ideas.
- Compile daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports tracking team performance and trends.
- Assist in setting sales goals based on data analysis and industry benchmarks.
- Conduct training sessions enhancing team product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Foster a team-oriented environment encouraging collaboration and open communication.
- At least 3-5 years in a sales leadership role within the automotive or motorcycle industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Harley-Davidson motorcycles is highly preferred.
