We are seeking a Senior Manager focused on the Lending sector (encompassing both direct lending operations and referrals to lending marketplaces) to help us achieve long-term scalability by optimizing partnerships that enhance seamless financial service products for small businesses.


The ideal candidate will possess a robust analytical skill set and the capability to effectively translate insights into actionable plans to enhance partnership optimization.

This individual should have experience collaborating with external partners to drive outcomes. They will excel in cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Product, Go-to-Market, Legal and Compliance, Finance, and Strategy.

The Money Platform relies on partnerships with institutional partners, capital providers, and banks, making the optimization of these relationships crucial to our success.


This role is preferred to be in-person (2-3 days per week) in our offices.

This position will report to the Head of Platform and Partnership Success within the QuickBooks Money Team.

What you'll bring

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; MBA is a plus.
- Strong interest and exposure to financial services, particularly in lending, is highly preferred.
- Experience in one of the following sectors: FinTech, consulting, or investment banking; direct experience in a client services role (partner management, customer success management, consulting) is advantageous.
- Ability to be a self-starter in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.
- Strong communication skills with the capacity to clearly articulate conclusions and the rationale behind decisions.
- Excellent collaboration skills across various functions (risk, product development, design, marketing, compliance, legal); a 'win-together' mentality.
- Proven ability to contribute to new business development initiatives and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to oversee and maintain all aspects of complex assignments.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to identify strategic solutions to business challenges with enterprise-wide implications.
- Flexibility to navigate diverse corporate environments, industries, and technical and non-technical domains.
- Executive presence when engaging with senior leadership both internally and within partner organizations.

How you will lead

- Conduct diagnostic reviews to identify opportunities within our existing partnerships, particularly in the Lending sector.
- Formulate hypotheses for optimizing current partnerships to enhance revenue and reduce costs; lead negotiations to implement these solutions.
- Become an expert in the SMB Lending segment; establish a point of view on lending innovations to inform platform strategy and optimization.
- Oversee operations of financial products and various checkpoints for the lending business.
- Manage third-party vendors, including onboarding and integration support, monitoring service level agreements, error remediation, and portfolio management; build relationships with vendors and facilitate connections with key internal stakeholders.
- Drive strategic renewals and extensions of current engagements.
- Build trusted relationships with partners and internal stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Product, Product Marketing, Capital Markets).
- Develop key performance indicators for strategy and coordinate internal reviews with stakeholder team leaders.
- Support other business functions with projects on an ad-hoc basis.
- Drive a rapid innovation cycle that maximizes speed, quality, and operational efficiencies.
