Job Overview

The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) is on an exciting growth path, broadening its influence and transforming the women's sports arena. Consequently, the NWSL is witnessing a rise in commercial interest and is enhancing its Commercial business division.

Position: Manager, Partnership Management

Reporting directly to the SVP of Business Development, the Manager of Partnership Management plays a vital role within the Partnerships team at the NWSL. This position emphasizes collaboration and strategic oversight for our key marketing partners by crafting and implementing initiatives that enhance both the league's and partners' business objectives. The role is crucial for maintaining existing partnerships, executing value-driven initiatives, and creating programs that align with organizational goals and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Broadcast, PR, Partner Activation, and other departments to devise and implement top-tier marketing solutions for existing partners, including opportunities for growth and renewals;
  • Develop revenue-generating partnership platforms and assets for current partners utilizing intellectual property, signage, media, and other resources;
  • Serve as the primary contact for all current partners and internal NWSL personnel, engaging with senior marketing executives at Fortune 500 companies;
  • Assist in maintaining regular reporting documents for the broader Partnerships team, senior leadership, and the Commercial Committee;
  • Support the management of agency relationships (activation, creative, research, etc.) while developing and overseeing partner events;
  • Foster and sustain relationships with sports marketing, advertising, and media agencies, establishing yourself as a thought leader and resource within the soccer community and women's sports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A genuine passion for women's sports, with enthusiasm for soccer and a commitment to enhancing its impact both in the USA and globally.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in partnership marketing, activation, partner solutions, or partnership management within a league, team, or agency, with a proven record of success.

Compensation: Estimated between $65K - $75K.

NWSL Commitment: Salaries are based on candidates' qualifications, functional business needs, and market conditions.
