POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Customer Insights Strategist, you will play a key role in converting customer data into actionable insights that enhance our customer experience and strategic initiatives. Within the Customer Strategy & Experience team, you will utilize your analytical skills and strategic mindset to influence customer-focused decisions throughout the organization. Your responsibilities will include thorough analysis of customer behaviors and trends, effective storytelling through data visualization, and managing critical projects aimed at refining our customer strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Customer Analysis & Insights:
    • Examine customer data to uncover significant trends and behaviors, formulating strategic recommendations that guide decisions across customer experience, digital platforms, retail locations, and marketing initiatives.
    • Transform complex customer data into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and enhance customer interactions.
    • Contribute to essential deliverables such as the Monthly Customer Scorecard, Monthly Customer Voice report, and Store Visit One-Pagers, along with various ad hoc analyses.
  2. Data Visualization & Reporting:
    • Create and manage visually compelling presentations that distill complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholder and executive discussions.
    • Generate comprehensive reports from raw data sets to support and propel customer strategy initiatives.
    • Collaborate with Data Analytics to develop and enhance dashboards using tools like Tableau and Power BI to effectively convey customer insights.
  3. Research Support:
    • Assist in the planning and execution of proprietary research projects, including managing research vendors, sweepstakes, and survey programming.
    • Support the development of research methodologies and tools to collect relevant customer data and insights.
  4. Project Management:
    • Lead and manage projects related to customer strategy, from conception to execution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
    • Work with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, establish timelines, assign deliverables, and track progress.
    • Address any project challenges and ensure timely and effective delivery of results.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field is encouraged.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in market research and/or data analytics, preferably within a retail-focused organization.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Experience in querying, analyzing, and visualizing large datasets through SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Proven ability to translate research findings and data analyses into actionable strategies through effective storytelling and presentation skills.
  • Aptitude for drawing conclusions from extensive and complex data sets.
  • Strong interest in and knowledge of the fashion industry, whether personal or professional.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills, along with strong interpersonal and presentation abilities to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and creatively solve problems.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and establishing processes in complex environments to promote customer-centric thinking.
