POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Customer Insights Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in transforming customer data into strategic insights that enhance our customer experience and drive key initiatives. Within the Customer Strategy & Experience team, you will utilize your analytical skills and strategic mindset to influence customer-focused decisions throughout the company. Your responsibilities will include in-depth analysis of customer behavior and trends, effective data storytelling, and managing critical projects aimed at refining our customer strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Customer Behavior Analysis:
- Analyze customer data to uncover significant trends and behaviors, developing strategic recommendations that influence customer experience, digital engagement, retail operations, and marketing strategies.
- Translate complex customer data into actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and enhance customer interactions.
- Contribute to essential reports such as the Monthly Customer Scorecard and Customer Voice reports, along with ad hoc analyses.
- Data Visualization & Reporting:
- Create visually compelling presentations that simplify complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholder and executive discussions.
- Generate comprehensive reports from raw data to support and advance customer strategy initiatives.
- Collaborate with Data Analytics to develop and refine dashboards using tools like Tableau and Power BI to effectively convey customer insights.
- Research Assistance:
- Support the planning and execution of proprietary research projects, including managing research vendors and survey programming.
- Assist in the development of research methodologies and tools to collect relevant customer data and insights.
- Project Leadership:
- Oversee customer strategy projects from conception to execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, establish timelines, assign tasks, and track progress.
- Address project challenges and ensure timely delivery of results.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field is preferred.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in market research and/or data analytics, ideally within a retail context.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Experience in querying, analyzing, and visualizing large datasets using SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Proven ability to translate research findings and data analyses into actionable strategies through effective storytelling and presentation skills.
- Ability to derive insights from large and complex data sets.
- Strong interest in and knowledge of the fashion industry, whether personal or professional.
- Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills, along with strong interpersonal and presentation abilities for collaborative teamwork.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the capacity to work independently and creatively solve problems.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and establishing processes in complex environments to foster customer-centric thinking.
