Job Title: Guest Services Representative

At Washington Prime Group, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Guest Services Representative to join our team at Clay Terrace. This part-time role will collaborate closely with the Marketing Director to boost the shopping center's overall performance by executing mall marketing initiatives, community events, and maintaining good relationships with retailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing community events and activities that drive foot traffic and engagement
  • Maintain property website, social media communications, and marketing materials to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Collect feedback from tenants, including sales data and retailer testimonials, after mall events to inform future marketing strategies
  • Participate in planning marketing meetings with retailers, security, housekeeping staff, and potential clients to ensure seamless execution
  • Develop and distribute a Calendar of Events for the property to keep stakeholders informed
  • Ensure all seasonal signage is up to date and correctly placed in the mall to maintain a visually appealing atmosphere
  • Assist with various marketing programs such as KidX and special events to drive engagement and sales
  • Produce recaps of mall events to share with stakeholders and inform future marketing strategies
  • Assist in holiday decoration setup to create a festive atmosphere
  • Collaborate on updates to mall directories and signage to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Encourage retailer participation in mall events to drive engagement and sales

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for the mall office, including answering phones, taking messages, and directing calls
  • Assist mall management with daily tasks, such as data entry and filing
  • Manage the main office telephone, direct calls, and take messages to ensure seamless communication
  • Assist and guide mall contractors and visitors to ensure a positive experience
  • Demonstrate regular attendance and punctuality to meet the needs of the team and stakeholders
  • Work well under pressure and cooperatively with colleagues to achieve common goals
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed to support the team and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in customer service, event planning, or retail
  • High school diploma or equivalent
