Business Development Representative

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at TransPerfect. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify new business opportunities through various methods, including internet research, trade show lists, referrals, and professional directories
- Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality delivery
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market developments to inform sales strategies and approaches
- Perform other special projects or duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 1-4 years of sales experience, preferably in a business-to-business (B2B) setting
- Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box
- Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
