Country View Family Farms is seeking a Regional Facilities Maintenance Coordinator for our operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct routine repairs and maintenance at various locations on a daily basis.
  • Initiate seasonal preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Communicate the necessity for updates to maintenance process documentation.
  • Lead initial investigations into critical equipment failures.
  • Serve as a resource for troubleshooting facility and repair challenges.
  • Oversee the progress of on-farm maintenance technicians in collaboration with farm management.
  • Provide training and coaching to ensure consistent application of processes.
  • Identify and propose facility capital investments.
  • Develop capital expenditure budgets for proposed initiatives.
  • Manage the setup and oversight of construction timelines.
  • Act as the construction manager for capital projects.
  • Monitor and manage construction projects.
  • Close out projects in partnership with the Regional Maintenance Manager.
  • Support key operational expectations.
  • Participate in facility staff meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in General Mechanical, Electrical, Welding, and Fabrication is preferred; certifications in these areas are advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and interpret data to draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in a livestock farming environment, which may involve exposure to varying temperatures, dust, odors, and noise.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, with potential weekend and holiday shifts.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards in the care of tools, supplies, equipment, and facilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Adhere to all bio-security protocols as outlined by Animal Care policies.
  • Consistently follow Animal Welfare standards and the Code of Conduct.
  • Align with the Mission, Vision, and Values of Country View Family Farms.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Frequent movement around production areas, with over 85% of time spent traversing the farm.
  • Regular use of tools for maintenance and repair of equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
  • Frequent climbing of stairs and ladders to perform maintenance tasks at height.
  • Regularly positioning oneself to reach under and around equipment for maintenance tasks.
  • Constant visual and auditory monitoring of equipment, sharing information about potential issues with management.
  • Frequent lifting and transporting of equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of heavier items.
  • Work environment includes exposure to loud noises, dust, and temperature variations.
