Position: Custodian

The Custodian plays a vital role in ensuring a clean and professionally maintained environment within our MCPP Processing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold cleanliness standards throughout the warehouse.
  • Stock essential supplies in designated areas, including gloves, paper towels, and cleaning agents.
  • Maintain a tidy and presentable main office area.
  • Oversee the cleanliness of breakrooms and restrooms, which includes:
  • Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
  • Cleaning windows and surfaces.
  • Operating floor cleaning machines.
  • Collaborating with third-party cleaning services for equipment maintenance.
  • Daily disposal of waste in appropriate receptacles.
  • Monitor and replenish paper supplies as needed.
  • Ensure proper recycling practices are followed.
  • Accurately document green waste collection in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Remove litter from outdoor areas.

Additional Duties:

Perform other related tasks as required.


Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age for legal compliance.
  • Successful completion of a Federal and State criminal background check is required.
  • A high school diploma or GED is necessary.
  • A minimum of two years of prior janitorial experience is preferred.

  • Capacity to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.

Work Environment:

  • This position requires on-site presence five days a week.

  • Ability to lift and carry loads up to 75 lbs regularly.

  • Work will be conducted both indoors and outdoors year-round.
