Position Overview

Camelot Kids CDC Inc. is seeking dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educators for our preschool and toddler programs. We have openings for Full-Time Positions that aim to foster a nurturing and engaging environment for young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a thoughtful and imaginative curriculum tailored for preschool-aged children.
  • Utilize diverse educational strategies, including storytelling and interactive play, to facilitate learning.
  • Monitor each child's development to enhance their social skills and self-esteem.
  • Encourage peer interactions and assist in conflict resolution among children.
  • Guide children in developing their creative and practical skills through structured activities.
  • Oversee nap and snack times, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere.
  • Document children's progress and communicate findings with parents.
  • Engage with parents to understand their child's background and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the learning experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom that adheres to health and safety standards.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience as a Preschool Teacher.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and preschool educational practices.
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation protocols for educational settings.
  • Exceptional communication and teaching skills.
  • Able to mediate effectively between children.
  • Combination of creativity and practical problem-solving abilities.
  • Certification in child CPR, Mandated Reporter, and Sexual Harassment training.
  • Completion of Child Development coursework with a minimum of 12 ECE Units is required; pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience in Child Care Centers and working with infants/toddlers in a classroom setting is advantageous.
Job Requirements
  • Compliance with state educational requirements and additional center-specific criteria.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • Current certifications in Mandated Reporter and Sexual Harassment.
  • In-depth knowledge of educational methodologies for young children.
  • Availability to work within the center's operational hours.
