Key Responsibilities- Design and implement a comprehensive and engaging curriculum tailored for preschool-aged children.
- Utilize diverse educational methods, including storytelling and interactive play, to facilitate learning.
- Monitor and assess each child's development to enhance their social skills and self-esteem.
- Encourage peer interactions and assist in conflict resolution among children.
- Support children's artistic and practical skills through a well-structured curriculum, focusing on shapes, numbers, and colors.
- Oversee nap and snack times, ensuring a safe environment for all children.
- Maintain regular communication with parents to discuss their child's progress and background.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to create a supportive learning atmosphere.
- Ensure the classroom is clean and adheres to health and safety standards.
- Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and preschool educational strategies.
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation protocols for educational settings.
- Exceptional communication and teaching skills.
- Ability to mediate and facilitate interactions among children.
- Creative mindset balanced with practical skills.
- Certification in child CPR, Mandated Reporter, and Sexual Harassment is required.
- Completion of Child Development coursework with a minimum of 12 ECE units is mandatory; pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience in Child Care Centers and working with infants/toddlers in a classroom setting is advantageous.
- Compliance with state educational requirements and any additional center-specific criteria.
- Current immunizations are required, with exemptions allowed as per legal guidelines.
- Successful completion of a Fingerprint/Live-Scan Background Check.
- Strong familiarity with educational techniques for young children.
- Willingness to work within the operational hours of the center.
