Job Title: Director of Procurement

Truliant Federal Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Procurement to lead our procurement and vendor management activities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to manage sourcing, negotiating agreements, optimizing costs, and ensuring vendor compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the procurement and vendor management function, including developing and implementing strategies and programs for sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business unit leaders, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Oversee the procurement and vendor management systems, including procure-to-pay, vendor onboarding, and contract management.
  • Prepare and monitor annual budgets for procurement and vendor management activities.
  • Develop and implement sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing strategies to optimize costs and improve business performance.
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders to identify and leverage opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Lead teams to develop, refine, and implement contract management and administration processes.
  • Oversee the development and execution of training plans for vendor owners, relationship managers, and negotiators.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with vendor relationships.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in vendor management, procurement, or a related field, with at least 7 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Experience working as a contract negotiator in Financial Services preferred.
  • Certified Commercial Contract Manager (CCCM) and/or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) designation preferred.
  • Certified Regulatory Vendor Program Management (CRVPM) certification preferred.
