Job Title: Director of Procurement

Truliant Federal Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Procurement to lead our procurement and vendor management activities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to manage sourcing, negotiating agreements, optimizing costs, and mitigating vendor risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the procurement and vendor management teams to ensure effective and efficient operations.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives and minimize risks.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the procurement process from sourcing to payment, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate vendor risks, ensuring business continuity and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure high-quality goods and services.
  • Monitor and analyze vendor performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement training programs for procurement staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective procurement strategies and managing vendor relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
