Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Channel Manager/Senior Channel Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales campaigns, resource planning, and partner relationships that optimize sales effectiveness and profitability for our sales channel. This role requires a self-starter with a sense of urgency and a proactive attitude, who can formulate and execute sales strategies, and provide exceptional communication skills to speak to customers and channel partners.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Sales Campaigns: Create and implement sales strategies to optimize sales conversion rates and maximize product relationships with our customers through upsell and cross-sell efforts.
- Manage Partner Relationships: Cultivate strategic partnerships with our sales vendors and agents to develop a best-in-class sales experience for customers.
- Monitor and Coach Sales Performance: Track and evaluate sales performance, and provide coaching and guidance to sales vendors and agents to ensure they meet sales targets and adhere to our values, ethics, and compliance culture.
- Provide Tactical Sales Support: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to effectively execute sales campaigns, and provide sales support relative to lead lists, price matrices, price plans, and sales scripts and trainings.
- Manage Channel Analytics: Develop and track relevant channel analytics, including CTA, cost per kWh, variable and fixed expense related to the channel.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in energy markets with emphasis in sales or sales support for Channel Manager, and at least 7 years for Senior Channel Manager.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher degree.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft suite of products, with an emphasis on Excel, and experience with SalesForce, Genesis, REPs, and QuoteWizard.
- Experience with Both Electricity and Natural Gas: Experience with both electricity and natural gas sales and support.
- Experience with Sales and Marketing Tools: Experience with SalesForce, Genesis, REPs, and QuoteWizard.
