Territory Channel Account Manager

Job Summary
The Channel teams mission is to build an excellent Ping Partner Network. In order to accomplish this goal, we need someone with channel, sales, and strategy experience. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of NA Channel. You will contribute to the Ping channel strategy focused on winning new customers and expanding our technology footprint with existing customers through our channel partner program. Travel is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Create a Channel Strategy for North American Territories
Attend industry events, working with partners to produce incremental business
Close new business deals by coordinating with partners and internal Ping team
Measure and achieve success metrics to partners and the business, analyzing business intelligence and making strategic adjustments
Work with direct sales and marketing organization to socialize the value proposition of our partnerships
Establish and use senior level contacts in partner organizations to implement joint partner strategy
Requirements
3 years field sales and/or business development experience in the IT security or infrastructure sector
Skills required include: closing skills, motivation for sales, prospecting skills, sales planning, and business planning
