Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Lead with expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM) to join our team at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. This role will be responsible for managing cost, scheduling, and financial data processing in infrastructure construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze earned value performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop corrective action plans.
  • Oversee schedule milestones status and ensure data compliance with established project controls processes.
  • Identify cost trends, report metrics, and analyze project data to inform decision-making.
  • Maintain baseline change control processes to ensure project stability and progress.
  • Present project data in meetings and reports to stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and executives.
  • Conduct actual cost data analysis to inform future estimates and project planning.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required to support project success.

Requirements:

  • Department of Energy (DOE) Q-level security clearance required.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as project management, engineering, or finance.
  • At least 10 years of experience in project controls, with 5+ years of experience in EVM.
  • Expertise in project controls technical skills and tools, including EVM systems and project controls software.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively present complex data to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of industry developments and EVMS tools, with a focus on infrastructure construction projects.
  • Experience in problem-solving and decision-making, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or AACE certification.
  • Knowledge of Power BI and Accumen Fuse, with experience in data analysis and visualization.
