About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Controls Project Manager to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing control systems projects with assigned customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Acts as the on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete control systems projects with assigned customers.
  • Task Execution: Performs or delegates tasks as required to execute and fully complete assigned projects, including hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, system and network commissioning, and project closeout.
  • Financial Management: Responsible for the overall financial results of assigned projects, including costs, project billings, and collections.
  • Customer Communication: Coordinates communication with the customer during all phases of the project and ensures proper execution of warranty.
  • Team Management: Provides work direction to subcontractors, electrical installers, technicians, designers, and administration as necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: Technical Associate's Degree with two years of field experience or four years of equivalent related field experience in the building automation industry, programming panel controls preferably HVAC equipment.
  • Experience: Experience managing projects, with a strong ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience.
  • Skills: Strong computer skills, with the ability to perform work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the HVAC industry, programming controls.
  • Project Management: Two plus years of Project Management experience.
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of project accounting, costing principles, and relevant technical hands-on experience in systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls.
