Compensation Range

The annual salary for this position ranges from $191,220 to $294,672, depending on experience and qualifications.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Weapons Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee the planning, management, and execution of critical infrastructure projects. These initiatives will focus on the modernization and recapitalization of integrated facilities, utilities, and specialized equipment essential for supporting weapons missions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new project opportunities, establish timelines and budgets, supervise design and construction efforts, and ensure project completion.
  • Utilize advanced project management methodologies to guide teams toward achieving organizational objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive project requirements, designs, scopes, costs, schedules, and risk management plans for specialized facility equipment projects.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison for various projects, leading a team of specialists and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
  • Evaluate technical strategies, set project visions, and recommend process enhancements to improve project execution.
  • Coordinate with business managers to provide accurate project status updates and performance metrics.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Department of Energy Q-level security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience in leading large-scale facility and infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Proven ability to devise innovative solutions for complex technical challenges and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong background in technical reviews, project controls, and cost estimation.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of advising senior management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or professional engineering registration.
  • Experience with HVAC systems and building structural systems.
  • Familiarity with nuclear weapons programs and laboratory operations.
  • Experience in leading major construction efforts within federal projects.
