Microsoft Exchange and Mobility Specialist


Marathon TS is seeking a skilled Microsoft Exchange and Mobility Specialist to oversee the operational integrity of our Exchange and mobility systems. This role is designed for a hybrid work environment, providing flexibility while ensuring the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations and upkeep of multiple Microsoft Exchange environments across various access levels.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance for Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve system outages, providing detailed reports for incident closure.
  • Assist in planning and executing system/application upgrades.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalated Exchange-related issues.
  • Support Tier 1/2 personnel with incident management and escalation.
  • Facilitate DoD Mobility Unclassified Capability MDM solutions.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer systems, including hardware and software configurations, maintaining system integrity and performing necessary upgrades.
  • Document and develop new methodologies to enhance network/system operations.
  • Collaborate with support teams and technical staff to resolve issues, coordinating maintenance activities for networks and servers.
  • Plan for transitions to new technologies in development and production environments.
  • Administer computer networks and related environments, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Implement network/system security measures to safeguard data and resources.
  • Conduct regular monitoring and analysis for both short-term and long-term planning of in-house systems.
  • Ensure the existence of comprehensive documentation, including operational guidelines.
  • Create or modify scripts to address performance issues and automate administrative tasks.
  • Propose enhancements to systems and network configurations, assessing hardware and software needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
  • DoD IAT Level II certification is mandatory.
  • Over 5 years of dedicated experience in Microsoft Exchange Administration (2016/2019/+).
  • Proven experience in Exchange version upgrades and mailbox migrations.
  • Proficient in administering MS Exchange environments using PowerShell.
  • At least 2 years of experience with DMUC MDM solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with best practices for MS Exchange backup and recovery.
  • Experience in implementing security protocols in line with RMF processes.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory integration related to MS Exchange.
