ManTech is looking for a Configuration Management Specialist to support our Marine Corps Intelligence Activity contract. This role necessitates an active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier II Operations and Maintenance support for IT Infrastructure across various networks and security domains.
- Possess a solid understanding of a Microsoft-based IT Enterprise infrastructure along with relevant network hardware and software.
- Respond to potential vulnerabilities related to IAVAs and OPDIRs, ensuring security and information assurance.
- Brief leadership on system health, both at the individual and enterprise levels.
- Implement security controls and patches in response to IAVAs and OPDIRs on Microsoft Windows server and workstation systems.
- Offer user support and guidance, recommending upgrades, patches, new applications, and equipment.
- Update and create documentation as necessary, including user guides, admin guides, knowledge base articles, FAQs, and quick reference guides.
- Engage with users to comprehend system operational and accreditation requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation to support system accreditation and Authority to Operate (ATO).
- Coordinate with Information Assurance and Computer Network Defense organizations for compliance access.
- Assist in developing documentation for deploying, training, and maintaining the system throughout its lifecycle.
- Integrate COTS/GOTS hardware and software as required.
- Conduct software integration, troubleshooting, and testing as necessary.
Mandatory Skills:
- Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements, maintaining active Security and MS Windows certifications or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience, or 8 years of experience without a degree.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), including support for accreditation efforts.
- Manage software packaging across various platforms and troubleshoot patch installations across multiple workstations and servers.
- Understand MS SQL Databases and their interaction with other Microsoft applications.
- Familiarity with Microsoft System Center Service Manager (SCSM) for managing incidents and service requests.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Operating systems, including Server and Workstation.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting and understanding DoD STIGs.
- Respond to incidents, change requests, and service requests, ensuring customer follow-up for completion.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of standard DoD and Marine Corps concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Familiarity with Navy/Marine Corps interoperability requirements.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server, Linux OS, Networks, MS Exchange, MS Lync, MS SQL Server, SCCM, SCOM, Service Manager, and related technologies.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time. Employment with ManTech may require verification of U.S.-person status or obtaining necessary licenses for access to export-controlled technology.
