Position Overview:
- Collaborative practice within a multidisciplinary group with a strong referral network
- Emphasis on team-oriented care
- Exceptional support staff and efficient practice management systems
- Comprehensive clinical and administrative support teams dedicated to patient care, including a dedicated Medical Assistant for each clinician
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather comprehensive patient histories and develop care plans; conduct physical assessments and evaluations on assigned patients; diagnose and manage medical conditions while providing direct patient care to a specific demographic
- Assist in pre-operative and post-operative care; issue appropriate medical orders, including those for controlled substances
- Communicate with supervising physicians regarding any unusual or unexpected clinical events or issues requiring direct consultation
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of patient care and support personnel within the practice
- Document patient progress and treatment interventions in medical records; maintain necessary documentation as required

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in nursing with advanced clinical skills OR Bachelor's degree with certification from an accredited physician assistant program. Must be licensed to practice in the relevant state
- Current, unrestricted nursing license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Nurse
- Possession of state and federal Controlled Substance Registration
- Minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience within the last three years in a similar role
