Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain detailed medical records; perform physical examinations and evaluations for assigned patients; diagnose and manage medical conditions while providing direct care to a designated patient demographic
- Facilitate pre-operative and post-operative care; issue necessary medical orders, including prescriptions for controlled substances
- Communicate with supervising physicians regarding any significant or unexpected patient issues requiring immediate attention
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of patient care and support personnel within the practice

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in nursing with advanced clinical assessment skills OR Bachelor's degree accompanied by a certificate from an accredited physician assistant program. Must be licensed to practice in the relevant state
- Current, unrestricted nursing license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Nurse
- Possession of state and federal Controlled Substance Registration
- Minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience within the last three years
