We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a key member of our clinical care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in the comfort of patients' homes.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with a DispatchHealth Medical Technician (DHMT) and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and treat complex illnesses, and develop effective treatment plans.
- Perform a range of clinical tasks, including splinting, suturing, wound care, and minor procedures, using critical thinking skills and evidence-based standards of practice.
- Accurately document patient encounters, ensuring accurate and thorough records of care provided.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and continuity.
- Identify and proactively solve problems, adhering to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics.
- Provide compassionate, empathetic, and culturally sensitive care, maintaining positive relationships with DHMT partners and remote teams.
- Minimum of two years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Hospital, Family Practice, Cardiac, Pulmonary, or other relevant areas.
- Graduate with an advanced degree from an accredited institution.
- Current unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Nationally board certified, current.
- Current BLS required, ACLS certification preferred.
- Prescriptive authority and DEA.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
