Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop comprehensive care plans; perform physical examinations and evaluations for assigned patients; diagnose and manage medical conditions
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care; write necessary medical orders, including prescriptions for controlled substances
  • Communicate effectively with supervising physicians regarding any significant patient issues or concerns
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of clinical and support staff within the practice
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately; maintain all required medical records

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in nursing with advanced clinical skills OR Bachelor's degree with completion of an accredited physician assistant program; must be licensed to practice
  • Current, unrestricted nursing license in the state of practice
  • Possession of state and federal Controlled Substance Registration
  • Minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience within the last three years
