Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain detailed medical records; perform physical examinations and evaluations for assigned patients; diagnose and manage medical conditions while providing direct care to a specific patient demographic
  • Assist in pre-operative and post-operative care; issue necessary medical orders, including prescriptions for controlled substances
  • Communicate with supervising physicians regarding any significant clinical events or concerns that require their attention
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of patient care and support personnel within the practice
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in medical records; maintain compliance with all documentation requirements

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in nursing with advanced clinical skills OR Bachelor's degree accompanied by a certificate from an accredited physician assistant program. Must hold a valid license to practice
  • Licensure: Registered Nurse with an active, unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Nurse
  • Possession of state and federal Controlled Substance Registration
  • Minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience within the last three years
