Position Overview

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking seasonal Concessions Stand Attendants to enhance our operations at a prominent sports venue. In this role, you will be tasked with the preparation and serving of concession items while ensuring a memorable experience for our guests.

Compensation

This role includes a tip-sharing system, with potential earnings from tips averaging an additional $12/hr based on 2023 data.

Overall compensation, including tips, may reach approximately $28/hr.

Base pay is set at $17.69 per hour. Details regarding our comprehensive benefits package are available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests, communicate menu options, and address inquiries in a courteous manner.
  • Serve food and beverages while adhering to sanitation standards and alcohol service regulations.
  • Assist in setting up the kiosk, managing inventory, and reporting shortages to the stand lead.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the work area, including the upkeep of equipment.
  • Process transactions using the point-of-sale system and ensure accurate cash handling at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Prior experience in customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions consistently.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Willingness to work in confined spaces or varying temperatures based on seasonal conditions.
Work Schedule

Shifts may include daytime, evening, holidays, and weekends.
